If you are not sure which paper to choose why not enquire about a sample pack.

Canson Infinity

The Giclee Service highly recommends this range of premium papers due to their museum grade archival qualities and excellent colour gamuts. The papers have been developed to address the need for demanding longevity requirements in the Digital Fine Art market. Canson use natural pigments within their paper coating, rather than chemical optical brighteners (OBA’s).

Arches Aquarelle Rag 310 gsm
Arches Aquarelle Rag’s warm textured surface gives it a unique character and depth for fine art and photographic prints. A hugely popular choice!

BFK Rives 310 gsm
BFK Rives is super premium, with a velvety texture and surface to touch. Not too dissimilar to the Hahnemühle Photo Rag surface in appearance.

Rag Photographique 310 gsm / 210 gsm
Rag Photographique is similar to the BFK Rives in feel but offers an ultrasmooth surface.

PhotoGloss Premium RC 270 gsm
This glossy resin coated photographic paper offers an exceptional Dmax as well as a wide colour gamut and is ideal to produce stunning colour photographs. The paper has been designed to comply with the highest lifespan requirements. (Contains OBA’s).

PhotoSatin Premium RC 270 gsm
Another high quality resin coated photographic paper that gives softened reflections to your photographs. It is a great choice for black & white and colour photography. (Contains OBA’s).

Hahnemühle

Hahnemühle make hugely popular giclee papers and are often the only paper that giclee printers stock. The use of OBA’s in some of the papers mean that they are not museum grade papers, however they are still extremely archival!

Photo Rag 308 gsm / 188 gsm
Hahnemühle Photo Rag is often considered an industry standard with it’s smooth bright white surface. Excellent colour and detail reproduction.

Photo Rag Bright White 310 gsm
Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White, like the name suggests, has an even brighter white surface. An option for when you are looking for that extra contrast and colour vibrancy in your illustration work.

Bamboo 290 gsm
Hahnemühle Bamboo is very similar to the Photo Rag in structural appearance but incorporates 90% bamboo from sustainable sources, helping to reduce it’s environmental impact. It is the warmest paper here making it great for black & white reproduction. (OBA Free).

Sugar Cane 300 gsm
Hahnemühle Sugar Cane is another environmentally friendly paper, using a mixture of sugar production by-products (Bagasse) with recycled cotton from Hahnemühle’s paper manufacturing waste. It happens to also be a rather beautiful textured paper to boot! It is natural white making it suitable for both colour and black & white reproduction. (OBA Free).

Torchon 285 gsm
Hahnemühle Torchon is a really really beautiful bright white water colour paper. It’s parchment-like textured surface gives it a lot of character – but it may not be to everyone’s tastes!

Fine Art Pearl 285 gsm
Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl has a bright white lustre surface. It has the look and feel of traditional darkroom paper and the benefit that Epson Ultrachrome inks jump off the page.

Fine Art Baryta 325 gsm
Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta is very similar to the Pearl but is extra heavyweight and ever so slightly textured with a high gloss finish. Ultimate results in colour.

Photo Rag Baryta 315 gsm
Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta is high gloss like the Fine Art Baryta but with a warmer natural white and a more luxurious feel due to its cotton structure. (OBA Free).
